School Budget Committee meets Feb 7, 13 and March 7.

The Annual Budget Committee begins deliberation over the proposed 2001-02 City School Budget with three meetings over the next month.
The first is Wednesday, February 7 at 7:30 PM. The second is February 13 at 7:30 PM, and the final meeting is March 7 at 7:30 PM. All the meetings are at Education House, and the public is invited.
The Budget Committee is made up of "more than 20 representatives from all segments of the coummunity, including parents, students, realtors, neighborhood associations and various community organizations.
A public hearing on the Superintendent's Proposed Budget will be hild on Monday March 19 at 8 PM.
The Board of Education is scheduled to adobt the Final Budget on Monday, March 26.
The annual vote on the budget, along with the election of Board of Education Members, will take place on Tuesday, May 15, from noon to 9 PM.
