	6 Middle School Students Selected for All-County Music Festival By John F. Bailey
	CityLine: February 6, 2001 The White Plains City School District has announced that six White Plains Middle School Students have been selected by audition to participate in the All-County Music Festival sponsored by teh Westchester County School Music Association. The musicians from the Highlands campus are: Helen Hess, viola; Abigail Rudow, oboe; and Kirsten Smayda, violin. Representing the Eastview campus are Juliana Bailey, clarinet; Allison Lau, clarinet, and Akina Younge, trumpet. All six artists are from the sixth grade and are taught by Judith Benjamin, Laura Mazziotti and Susan Shaw. The six young ladies will be performing in a concert at Mount Vernon High School on Saturday, March 31, 2001.
