P. Lynn Oliva to WPCNR: "No interest" in running for Council.

P. Lynn Oliva contacted WPCNR directly by telephone today to say that WPCNR's sources were incorrect in stating she was considering running for a seat on the next White Plains Common Council.

Ms. Oliva was emphatic in stating she had expressed "no interest" in running and said directly she was not a candidate.

WPCNR had been told by highly placed sources in the Democratic Party that Ms. Oliva had been considered, but today Ms. Oliva said she had not been interviewed by the Democratic Party Nominating Committee.
