WPCNR MR. & MRS. & MS. WHITE PLAINS VOICE. July 24, 2006: The frequent observer of White Plains legal affairs writes on the pending Air Pistol Ordinance being considered by the Common Council:

I second the comments of Carl Albanese. I also urge you to vote this abomination down, if nothing other than it is an extremely poorly written piece of "legislation" which is unconstitutional on its face. It has no basis in fact or reason (I understand glass bottles are used more in mischief and assaults than pellet/air/water assaults - ban glass bottles?) and there are plenty of penal laws on the books to handle whatever may come from these instruments and others. It is unnecessary legislation and will unknowingly criminalize a large segment of our local population. This is NOT what we elected you for. These issues are ALREADY HANDLED BY PRESENT LAWS ALREADY ON THE BOOKS!!!!!!
