WPCNR MR. & MRS. & MS. WHITE PLAINS VOICE. July 17, 2006: Another reader takes a sobering view on the city's coverup of the City Dump contamination:

Contrary to Mr Thomas's statement about "doctored photos," no doctoring is needed to photograph the approach to White Plains from many directions gives a view of Twin Towers. This is not my city anymore. It is being built and designed to attract people to move here and to support the lifestyles of developers, real estate investors and some politicians when they retire to Florida.

Please ask Mr Thomas to explain why he is not embarrassed for the politicians he supports for concealing the pollution and lack of permit to run a facility at the Gedney DPW while a large group of citizens were complaining about the odors and concern for building even closer to the source. How can Mr Thomas explain and justify this secretive behavior and tag sale of our woods?

Stop gloating about how Joe won the election, because every day people tell me they voted for him but wouldn't have if they knew the city was in such big trouble they had to destroy woods to fill their mismanagement.
