WPCNR MR. & MRS. & MS. WHITE PLAINS VOICE. July 17, 2006: A reader responds to a recent roundhouse right at the Democratic City Committee:
I would love to know what city your reader, Brian Thomas, is living in. It's surely not White Plains. His rant was so riddled with falsehoods and melodrama that I had to do more than one doubletake. To list:
1. Mr Hacohen's photo was not "doctored," as Thomas states.
2. Ms. Greer's appointment to the Common Council is hardly 'non-political.' I read this site every day and I don't recall ever any mention of Ms. Greer until the day after a Democratic candidate was offered up. Then another nominee popped up into the press from our Republican mayor's office. Non-politiical? Please.
3. The Democratic party of the city is not on some 'insatiable quest for control.' There are plenty of them on the Common Council already. Hardly warrants a "quest."
Mr. Thomas, give us a break and stop insulting our intelligence. If you're going to post on CNR, at least post the truth!

WPCNR Notes: The Photograph originally posted by Mr. Hacohen, was a zoom-in to make a point, which Mr. Hacohen admitted to WPCNR today. WPCNR simply pointed out the fact that the view was not from Stratford and Longview intersection, as Mr. Hacohen originally said.
