WPCNR MR. & MRS. & MS. WHITE PLAINS VOICE. May 11, 2006: Another question is hurled from the floor from an inquiring reporter at our dream News Conference with the Mayor:
"Mr. Mayor, why must White Plains property owners have to fund the City's expansion into a growing business and commercial Mecca when it will never benefit them? Why cannot those who don't pay property taxes but benefit from White Plains pay enough to fund the City Center growth and even enough to reduce property taxes? Or, Mr. Mayor are you assuming that White Plains property owners should feel altruistic about being bled financially so that others may prosper. "
