WPCNR MR. & MRS. & MS. WHITE PLAINS VOICE. April 5, 2006: A reader shares a different view of the selling of Railside Avenue properties Monday night by the White Plains Common Council:
I, not like the Common Council don't just listen to the community concerns but commit to their concerns, respect their concerns and will always act in the best interest of our communities, neighborhoods, families and citizens of White Plains.

Placing an ethical priority on the values of people, never ignoring what is most important to the quality of life for all people in our communities.
Know, we have not lost the battle, we are only just beginning. The greatest loss last night (Monday) was to the Common Council Members who voted against the values of people and placed a dollar sign above the needs of people.
They lost the people's trust, respect and dignity. That loss will forever be bonded to them and their
lack of integrity and character. That is our victory!
