WPCNR MR. & MRS. & MS. WHITE PLAINS VOICE. March 15, 2006: A visitor to White Plains from Pelham, writes to complain about being ticketed during the St. Patrick's Day Parade. He sends us his love note to the Parking Authority which he sent with his summons to the Parking Violations Bureau with his $15 payment:
Dear Sir or Madam,
I couldn't think of a better way for White Plains to promote itself than to have a downtown St. Patrick's Day Parade that lasts 90 minutes. Have parking meters that will only have 60 minutes maximum and then ticket every car in sight.
Enclosed is my $15 violation. It will be the last time I risk a fine in your lovely city to see the parade.
Sincerely,
Sil Spagnuolo
Pelham, NY
