I am not the writer of the anonymous post you responded to but I am interested in your understanding of the nature of planning (renaissance) and how you propose to project the viability of a project (financial included) upon the full scale of the existing built enviorment.
Quite frankly I find your sophomoric, Sophoclean quote, one must wait until evening to see how splendid the day has been pure sophistry. What do you say if it rains; the sun is behind the clouds and some day soon you will behold and marvel what I did for you??
The frequency and intensity of zoning changes that has taken place in the past decade precludes any meaningful comprehensive planning in my opinion.
