WPCNR MR. & MRS. & MS. WHITE PLAINS VOICE. JANUARY 16, 2006:  The Mayor does not want them. Andy Spano doesn't want them. The BID (Business Improvement District) does not want them. But we have them, and as I write this, they gather at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in 15 degree temperatures to await white vans from the Volunteers of America to pick them up sometime around 10:30 P.M. to take 45 minutes to get them settled at 85 Court Street. Every night this is there life now. What should be done? WPCNR has thought of a view things, and welcomes other suggestions to the poll at the right:
