Dear John,

The change in paying for metered parking from regular, old fashioned meters to the new ones where "newcomers" can't take over a spot with a few minutes left is anti-consumer, anti-poor person and downright disgusting. Is it the intent of the City managers to fleece the People whenever and whereever they can?  Leave the old system alone - put in meters and let the minutes left over be good for someone else  using the same spot - how crass not to.
