As the Mayor refuses to accept leadership
responsibiity for what he deems are soley his
"commissioners' " responsibilities, this soundbite may
come in handy for your site.
It is his honest admission during the League of Women
Voters' debate that he remains detached from much of
the "goings-on" in the City, and can't be expected to
be in touch with, much less respond to, bleeding
concerns that many consider important.
The frequently-raised "Happy Hour" issue on North
Broadway-- and the tragic consequence-- illustrates a
key question: What does the Mayor consider important?
