WPCNR MR. & MRS. & MS. WHITE PLAINS VOICE. November 10, 2005: A writer who has moved away from City of Smoky Marshes, comments on the re-election of Mayor Delfino:
Congratulations are obviously in order for Mayor Joseph Delfino, but also for the citizens of White Plains, itself. Voters should pat themselves on the back for a job well done at the polls.

Having worked for Mayor Delfino during his second term, knowing him personally and professionally, I feel confident in stating that the people of White Plains, by virtue of reelecting Mayor Delfino to a third term, have made certain that their city will continue to thrive financially, environmentally, and culturally.
In stark contrast to voters in New Rochelle, voters in White Plains continue to get it right. Voters know what is important to them, they know who has been providing them with the finest city in Westchester County, and luckily for them, all they had to do to make sure their quality of life continues to improve, is to keep the man they've already got serving them at City Hall, Mayor Joseph Delfino.
Respectfully,
