WPCNR MR. & MRS. & MS. WHITE PLAINS VOICE. November 7, 2005: A reader who is connected with the Dennis Power campaign, Paul Schwarz, (Campaign Manager), weighs in on the new "Windows on Westchester (for lack of a better name)" 5-Star Restaurant announced in the Mayor's campaign literature:
Just what we need! At the top of a building that we don't need, that is taller than we need. At the top of a hotel that will cater to a clientele blissfully uninterested in the City of White Plains. A five-star restaurant. While ordering from a menu out of the reach of all but a few residents, diners can gaze at far-off vistas, and be unconcerned about the ten square miles of real city spread out just below. As unconcerned, in fact, as the developers who envisioned this monument to themselves. Thanks, Joe!
