Your previous letter from Mr. Carl Albanese shows him contradicting himself.
He feigns pride in Mayor Delfino for all these accomplishments in our city,
yet claims all the faults are with the partially Democratic Council.

Mayor Delfino is either responsible for everything or nothing. Or else he's
not really in control, is he? And if he's not, he should be replaced.
It's surprising to me that Mr. Albanese is listing himself as an
Independent-- this is the same tactic we see from Republicans on the
national level: Got a problem? Blame Clinton. Need a plan for the future?
Instead speak of two terms ago. Accountability? Fuggedaboutit.
Supporters can't realistically credit Delfino with the good and pass the
buck on the bad. 'We the people' aren't that stupid.
The facts & public records show what Mayor Delfino has done in terms of
giveaways to developers as our taxes and fines rise. The City Center garage
isn't ours for another 18 (22) years. Taxes are up 17% in three years. Ticketing
is up, and fines are up to $20.
If one of his supporters can actually admit and argue the facts, we'd be
more likely to buy whatever else he's selling.
Till then, I'm confident the people will elect Mr. Power as Mayor come
Tuesday.
