The article reports what happened when a nearby town suffered some "surprises" after it went through some development and the caution the town's mayor suggests.

I won't say any more about the article.  The readers can decide. 

In regard to the attacks on me by "Ian" and the other anonymous writer, I would hope that if the writer is an incumbent or a candidate, he/she would have the decency and courage to identify himself/herself.  Or, if not the writer, the candidates or incumbents would have the courage to join the discussion or, at least, the courage to ask that anonymous writers identify themselves in the spirit of honest discussion and open debate.
