WPCNR CITY HALL CIRCUIT. July 22, 2005: Sources close to the Mayor of White Plains, a councilman and an acquaintance have confirmed that White Plains indefatigable Mayor, Joseph Delfino, has pneumonia, for at least the last two weeks. Questions buzzed around City Hall the last few days wondering where the Mayor was as he was not there with his steady hand on the city's helm. He was present at the Common Council special meeting Thursday evening on the plumbing matter, and is available to come in for certain functions. He is being treated for the condition. City Hall had no comment on the matter to WPCNR when asked twice to confirm the Mayor was ill. Get well cards may be addressed to the Mayor's Office, 255 Main Street, White Plains, N.Y.
