WPCNR MR. & MRS. & MS. WHITE PLAINS VOICE. JUNE 22, 2005: Dan Seidel writes the CitizeNetReporter complaining that the Public Scoping Session on The Pinnacle scheduled for this evening at 6 PM ignores the timely notification guidelines for calling such Scoping Sessions:

Here's a comment on the hastily called "special meeting" for the "public scoping session" on the Pinnacle:

Again, the administration shows its contempt for John Q. Citizen by deigning to give a mere 48 hours notice of this so crucial a meeting, the notice and meeting being required  under the SEQRA  law.  How dare the Mayor and his staff not allow more time for people to adjust  their calendars and schedules so public comment can be made - this "hearing" should be adjourned in favor of having and cultivating  public participation, AS REQUIRED UNDER SEQRA!!!  This is NOT adequate notice!!!

The Mayor and his staff should know better - again he grinds his  thumb into the People's eye!!  SHAME!!!!!
