Doherty said she was honored to be a part of the commemorative ceremony. “Just being part of this ceremony is an honor,” said Doherty. “The flag is a precious symbol of our free nation. To pay homage as a community is certainly a fitting acknowledgment of our reverence.”
Doherty has been crossing the county to meet residents throughout Westchester to personally share with them why she is running for County Clerk, opposing New Rochelle Mayor Tim Idoni.
“I’m running for County Clerk to put my experience to work for the people of Westchester,” said Doherty. “The filing, recording and maintenance of our County’s documents are extraordinary responsibilities, which I take very seriously. I am up to the task to function as guardian of Westchester’s records and licenses, and I hope that the voters of Westchester will provide me with the opportunity to serve them in this capacity,” concluded Doherty.
