WPCNR WHITE PLAINS VOICE. November 24, 2004: A local member of the clergy raises a concerned voice over the closing of Samaritan House announced this week by Grace Church. He comments:
I am helping the women fight to keep shelter open. I am sending you in this email the complete Journal News report both from Tuesday and today, so you know there will be more I believe in the Sunday edition.
These women are being turned out for One Million Dollars and no one seems to care, not the Department of Social Services, not the Church nor Cappelli, unless something is done to prevent the closing of Samaritan House, these women may end up with no place to go and for The Reverend Vincent to accept the money from Cappelli is no better than when the money changers did their deed in the Temples.
