WPCNR PRESS BOX. June 10,2004: The vaunted pitching of the Texas Thunder handed the New York New Jersey Juggernaut its third straight loss Thursday evening in Houston, behind the 4-hit pitching of Lindsay Chouinard who outduelled Kaci Clark before 632 fans in Cougar Stadium at the University of Houston. Texas broke through against Kaci in the sixth inning on a walk to Lindsay Gardner, a double by Clare Burnum and a single by Amanda Buchholz to plate the 2 runs Chouinard needed. The Nauts stranded 7 runners. Jaclyn Pasquerella went 3 for 3 for the Nauts and Gina Oaks had the other Naut knock. The Nauts will attempt to salvage the final game of the series tonight before heading home to play the California Sunbirds Sunday evening. The Thunder takes over first place in the National Pro Fastpitch league with a 6-2 mark. The Nauts are sitting on 5-3.
