You are doing a very good job with your show, WHITE PLAINS WEEK. It is one of the best local access programs I have seen in Westchester.

A Viewer Commentary on the Need for Opposing Views. Posted on Thursday, March 25 @ 14:18:15 EST by jfbailey

Toast of the Town! WPCNR WHITE PLAINS VOICE By Candyce Corcoran. March 25, 2004: John, I would have to agree with everyone thus far, who has written to you regarding, "Who is threatening the Press." I have enjoyed your E-Paper tremendously.  It is up to date on all current events in White Plains and those of the county.

John, your paper is current, thorough and you state the facts as they are.  The open comment section by readers was excellent.  It is a way for residents to express their true feelings both positive and negative.  I have enjoyed reading many of the comments posted by fellow White Plains Residents.  Some I may disagree with and others are so eloquently posted that I have learned from them.  I would think that our elected officials would use the comment section as a tool for all of the endeavors and proposals within White Plains.

You and your paper have made a  mark on the residents of White Plains, and the cost to read all about our city is free.  It is about time that the citizens of White Plains and Elected Officials take your web site seriously.  I have noticed that over the months, the very same elected officials on all levels are now using your site as a means to promote their positions and declarations.

In addition, you must remember. . .that many of these Officials are the same officials who shunned you and your paper, barred you from meetings and publicly declared your E-Paper a waste.

By having any officials tell you that it is wrong to have open comments, is unrealistic and not right. I would love to see the anonymous comments back in the E-Paper.  If not. . .perhaps there is a way to start an open chatroom for White Plains Residents to post comments.

Sincerely,  Candyce Corcoran
